The Ultimate Girl’s Night Out for 2016: Introducing Eccleston Square Hotel

Review
Stepping into the lobby you are immediately greeted by Georgian grandeur combined with the best of 21st century luxury – the bright blue light of the large wine cabinet perfectly compliments the traditional black and white chequered floor seemlessly. Once owned by Queen Victoria’s granddaughter, you can imagine the morning greetings exchanged with her next door neighbour – a certain Sir Winston Churchill – (or you may even imagine the more heated exchange in their supposed falling out about an unreturned book!) This space certainly provides a retreat which is bang in the centre of London, with an impressive and substantial outdoor spaces for afternoon tea, or indeed a game of tennis for the more active amongst us. An intimate setting, with 39 rooms, the staff take time to get to know their guests on a personal level, always going above and beyond the call of duty 24/7 to make your stay a memorable one.
High tech from (£12,000) bed to bath, the Eccleston Square hotel is a treat for the retro girl’s night out with its mix of luxury and super mod-cons. The king size bed moves to suit your comfort.  Feel like sitting up?  No problem, the bed moves up for you.  Feel like putting your feet up?  The bed will lift your feet up for you.  The remote control, (cleverly stored in front of the bedside cabinet)  is there to make you as comfortable as possible as you choose from a selection of free films in your personal library of movies.  You can even order champagne from the personalised iPad, as well a scrumptious breakfast and all your room service.
Almost did a double take when I realised the custom made bed includes a clever massage feature which  can drain a away the stress of a long day shopping.  Separate settings from head to  feet or both giving you the feeling of an Swedish full body massage as you relax (in your favourite position).
Hands down my favourite room feature was the bathroom.
You’ll never miss a thing with the equally high tech bathroom mirror with an inbuilt television that plays the same channel as the bedroom.  This means you can continue watching the end of that movie whilst in the shower!  The marble floors and sumptuous L’Occitane products and retractable electric screen over the windows that further protects your modesty in the bathroom, one touch of a button sends the outside world away, closing you into an eclectic den of gadgets, the last of which is by far the most impressive – a frosted glass panel that turns from being see-through to opaque once again at the touch of a button!
All glammed up and ready to go after our celeb favourite Fashion Fair makeovers, it was only right that we sampled London’s latest and trendiest new nightspot Mimi’s, after an eclectic night with the stars at The Inspiration for Women Awards. Though no guessing who the award for most high-tech hotel goes to…
