Dine like a VIP! The new summer menu at Plate: A review ????
Gordon Ramsay does not mince his words when it comes to his expectations of a dining experience, and #showbizmama was blown away by his latest offering at Plate in the city of London.
The summer menu is out and we sampled it for the first time. The lighter menu offers twists on fantastic British gastro favourites. Top of the choices being the salmon scotch egg surrounded by hollandaise sauce that was stunning.
Don’t worry about being hungry while you’re waiting for your meal to be cooked.
Diners are treated to a selection of freshly baked breads including a marmite one that would convert those that aren’t a fan of the condiment straight away. The beef wellington is swapped for a classic rib eye steak and Parma fries, which had zero fat on it and tasted fresh and delicious. Our sweettooths were satisfied with the scrumptious apple strudel that was baked on site to perfection with a cinnamon crust. The indulgent chocolate fondant did not disappoint – served with fragrant icecreams.
With breathtaking views across the city of London, Plate is like a retreat away from the hustle and bustle. A few moments of fabulousness that you can get lost in.
