With just two days left before one of the biggest events in the social calendar, Showbizmama has discovered a fabulous place to treat your loved ones on Mother’s Day.
Steeped in rich cultural history from the pioneers of Indian cuisine, and bursting with flavour from the vibrant decor, to the colourful dishes, Copper Chimney is the perfect location for a Mother’s Day feast.
This modern Indian restaurant puts its own unique twist on old time favourite curry dishes, with Butter chicken and boneless lamb Rogan Josh that just melt in your mouth.
Food lovers – beware of the prawn biryani – with its rich and succulent flavours – it will leave you wanting more… and more.
What we loved about the decadent menu was the incredible choice – with a special Tandoor grill to prepare chicken Tikka, Lamb Seekh kebab and Chutney fish marinated in green mint and lemon chutney.
Vegetarians are well catered for with paneer tikka – diced soft cheese prepared in sharp mustard and yogurt dressing. It’s goes well with the chargrilled cheese broccoli as well as the classic spinach side full of fresh garlic flavour.
So what’s it like for kids? There’s no chips on the menu *gasps* but it’s a pleasant surprise as there’s lots of other healthy great dishes for little ones.
Especially chicken lovers like my lot. Highly recommend the lightly seasoned Reshmi grilled chicken from the Tandoor grill and from the starter menu the crispy Delhi-style fried chicken and elegant Amritsari Shrimp.
Everyone loves the butter naan too, as well as the Baluchi naan packed with unique flavour with dates and apricots.
Copper Chimney prides itself on excellent service, and the friendly staff are so attentive and will go out of their way to make sure your visit is memorable.
